Suncatcher developed its bubbles through a second fermentation in the bottle. We experimented with disgorging a small number of bottles, but found the wine more expressive with the lees (spent yeast) left in place.
Keeping it on its lees gives Suncatcher a pétillant naturel style (pétillant is French for “lightly sparkling”) with added texture and creamy, doughy character.
Our Gewüztraminer vines are planted on the western-most edge of our vineyard, catching the long rays of the setting sun. The result is a true mosaic of complex flavors, bursting with personality.

Free local delivery is available on orders of 3+ bottles for customers within 15 miles of King Ferry, NY
Deliveries are made on Monday afternoons. Recipient must be physically present at delivery with photo ID for age verification (must be 21+).
If recipient is not present at time of delivery, a 2nd delivery attempt will be made the following week. Undelivered orders will be cancelled and refunded, minus a restocking fee.
