Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah were co-fermented with native yeasts to bring the two varieties together from the start. The Cabernet was destemmed; the Syrah went in whole cluster.
After 10 days on the skins, the wine spent 10 months in new French oak.
Medium-bodied. Dark and structured, but bright and lively, with black currant, violet, cracked pepper, and cedar.
A red built for the table.
